The start of a new semester! and that means Lunar new year is approaching (: schooling really causes people to be more eager about holidays. But who can resist the Chinese New Year celebrations? Visiting to relative's house in your new clothes, munching on all the goodies (rmb to exercise after that), gather and catch up! There's so much things to do!!!

Some observations as we start the new semester:
1) Change is necessary to make things interesting

We've been dulled down by the monotony of school and trapped in the vicious cycle of tutorials, homework and exams that it has become a daily routine for us...we start to show signs of lethargy, like dragging our feet to the next lecture or tutorial or feeling that the best period of the day is LUNCH.

So I figured that change is probably what we need make the student life more interesting! Change our perspective on things, change the attitude towards studying, change our sleeping habits because when we start to change all these, everything may turn out to be brighter instead! the eventual aim is to have an ascending trend in our GPA! But dragging our feet to school is not going to help us achieve that.

2) People have changed

See, if you dont change, the people around you will anyway. Keep an open mind towards the things that you see around you or hear around you...no hard feelings from other people's actions. People do things with a reason! As long as we understand the reason, maybe it will be easier to accept it!

3) Your friends are everywhere, but those true friends will be there when you need them

Another thing that i learnt as i grow (: Its always good to widen your social circle, no harm doing that. Making new friends does not mean you will lose old ones because those who are your real best friends will not break contact with you so easily just because you've got new friends.

Lots of things learnt in just the first week of school! hope that I will be able to handle things well and hope that people around me will kindly correct/advise me if i dont do things well. Thanks and HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR! Yippeeeee!!
