It was just a click of a button away...and...The course you accept

NTU-Bioengineering with Business minor
has been registered in the Joint Accpetance system. Thank you.

Yes! So its NTU's Bioengineering from now! I was offered a place in NUS Faculty of Science and NTU's Bioengineering. It was such a hard decision and there were so many factors to consider. NUS is such a reputable University and many would say that I should've jumped at such an oportunity but if I were to compare it on a University basis, I would prefer NTU over NUS. Less competition and the students seem more passionate about their course!

But most importantly, I did my research on the major in NUS that I wanted to take up for a dream that i have- to become a Nutritionist/Dietitian. And i realised that a Food scientist is not the ideal degree which will lead me to that career path. The degree that I'm looking at would be a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, which sadly is only offered overseas. NUS Food sci & Tech would most likely lead me to QC jobs which isn't very appealing to me and wasn't what I had in mind.

I could have gone for other majors in NUS Science too but Majors like Math, Chemistry or Physics are way too general, which may be a good thing or a bad thing. I would most probably end up in a reasearch company if I go for Chemistry or Physics and an Analytics or Finance company if i go for Math (you never know coz its just so versatile).

So eventually, after listening to some advices from experienced people and after much intensive considerations, I chose NTU and I'm glad I did!

Okay, I'll admit I feel a teensy bit bad for NUS because I went for the interview and took up their time but rejected them in the end :/ Hey, but I'm still glad they offered me a place in NUS because they gave me an opportunity to choose! Thanks NUS! (:

Sudden urge to blog (: Got offered a course in NUS! Okay, now to start weighing my choices and making decisions which concerns my future! All these decision makings are playing around with my mind! Regardless of the choices that I have to make, I must say, I really love and treasure my job at the moment even though its not something that will follow me throughout the rest of my life because obviously, I don't want to get stuck with this part time salary throughout! Real good experience though! :D:D really short post but to end off, this is what is going through my mind right now (I must admit sometimes I will say things as it is, only when necessary though):

Sometimes some people just do things without much consideration of the consequences. Why? If you have known the consequences would you have done it? Or maybe you do know but you just couldn't care less.
